Lua Lua

We had THE most incredible day/night for our wedding on the weekend and it was hugely due to the music! Paul from Unplugged Entertainment was amazing from the get-go; patient and informative…I had a lot of questions and was very indecisive but he guided me through the acts that met my brief. We ultimately selected Lua Lua who played acoustically for ceremony/canapes, followed by DJ-ing for the reception and omg did they nail it!
The acoustic music was beautiful (talk about talented) and the Dancefloor was pumping ALL night. The highlight was Tamblyne on the violin for some dance party tunes. Our guests have not stopped raving about how amazing and fun the music was. Cannot recommend Unplugged Entertainment and Lua Lua enough. Thank you so much!

Lua Lua are such a talented duo, we found them to be so friendly and happy to work with us to achieve our vision for the day. We’re very fortunate we found Unplugged Entertainment and Lua Lua to perform at our wedding in Olinda. The beautiful live music helped make our day feel extra special, especially for the bride’s entrance and our first dance. Leighton was really helpful and easy to deal with during the booking process and in the lead up and it’s useful that Unplugged comes with an event’s portal for everyone to refer to when planning the day. Lua Lua were also very professional and reliable on the day and a big thank you to them for saying yes to our wedding and travelling to us.

The best thing about this duo is that they aren't just your typical cover band, they are amazing musicians with an alternative edge with spine tingling vocals. Nothing made marrying my wife better then having Lualua music involved, both Paul & Tamblyne went above and beyond to make our day so memorable!

At one stage we looked around and not one person was sitting down! Which showed us how great they were!

Lua Lua helped to make our day perfect! They happily learnt new songs for both Lorenz and I to walk down the aisle. In particular, their rendition of Simply the Best was pure magic... and was the catalyst for the tears to start flowing! Paul's level of communication leading up to the event was impressive, leaving no questions unanswered. We felt very comfortable going into the day knowing that the music was handled. All of the guests spoke highly of the music and loved the warm vibe of the day, they really set the scene that we were after. Could not recommend Lua Lua highly enough!

Lua Lua are excellent musicians and just damn cool people too! I was so impressed by their talent and professionalism. They played at my sister's wedding in Tasmania and really added that something special to the whole occasion. They were more than happy to learn new songs to add to their repertoire that we requested but most of the set list was decided by the band and it was absolutely perfect. They got everyone up and dancing and singing and helped make the night so much fun. I can't thank them enough for their amazing work and talent. Would hire Lua Lua again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone looking for a youthful, fun and professional cover band!
